Automations

Automation Engine

The Automations page lets you configure workflows that run on a schedule without manual intervention. Set up discovery runs, draft generation, comment monitoring, trend digests, and other chainable steps so the pipeline can operate end to end or only where you need help.

How to access

Click Automations in the left sidebar. Requires an active synfluencer.

Automation types

  • Scheduled discovery & content generation — Automatically run trend discovery and create content drafts on a recurring schedule.
  • Social monitor automation — Periodically sync comments and engagement data from your connected platforms.
  • Trend digest delivery — Receive a summary of trending topics at scheduled intervals via the Messages page.
  • Burn alert notifications — Get notified when your credit usage hits a threshold you define.
  • Competitor briefing reports — Automated reports comparing your performance against tracked competitors.

Managing automations

  • Create — Set up a new automation by selecting the type and configuring the schedule.
  • Enable / disable — Toggle automations on or off without deleting them.
  • Run manually — Trigger an automation immediately outside its schedule.
  • Reset — Clear the automation state and start fresh.
  • View history — See when each automation last ran and when it runs next.

Per-platform peak-hour scheduling

When an automation targets multiple connected platforms, each platform is slotted at its own peak hour — X around 8 AM, TikTok 6–10 AM, Instagram 11 AM–1 PM, LinkedIn 7–9 AM, and so on (within your configured posting window). The peak-hour table is platform-best-practice based, not your audience analytics. After scheduling, the Scheduler calendar shows the per-platform times in your synfluencer's audience timezone, and Upload-Post fires each platform at its own moment — so a single trend can land on three platforms at three different optimal times without you doing anything per-platform.

Timezone

Schedules fire in the active synfluencer's audience timezone. A “Daily at 9 AM” automation on an EST-audience synfluencer fires at 9 AM EST, while the same rule on a PST-audience synfluencer fires at 9 AM PST — each synfluencer owns its own clock. Change it on the synfluencer's Laboratory profile.

Automations consume credits when they run. Start with manual runs to understand the output before enabling scheduled automation. You can set burn alerts to stay informed of spending.
