Responder
Response Generator
The Responder crafts direct replies to other people's posts and comments. Paste the content you want to respond to, choose the platform and format, and get a reply that engages with the original author's points in your synfluencer's voice — not a standalone post on the same topic, but an actual conversational response you can post as a reply. This is how Synfluencer extends beyond drafting original posts into real engagement workflows.
How to access
Click Responder in the left sidebar. Requires an active synfluencer.
Key features
- Reply-mode generation — Responses are framed as direct replies that reference and engage with the original author's specific points, claims, and framing rather than creating standalone content on the same topic.
- Response intent picker — Choose the shape of the reply (Auto, React, Agree & extend, Challenge, Sympathize, Riff) from the dropdown next to Generate. See below for what each intent does.
- Show 3 alternatives — Toggle below the intent dropdown. Off (default): one polished response generated through the existing pipeline. On: three distinct alternative angles generated via the shared
engagement_draftingpipeline that Engage X uses — voice calibration → one-shot 3-option generation with the shared humanizer block → parallel QC audit per option. The Output panel ranks all three by QC score; click an alternative to load it into the editor. - Optional niche authority — Every intent treats your synfluencer's niche expertise as optional. Emotional, celebratory, or playful posts no longer get forced expert takes; the reply stays in your synfluencer's voice without claiming authority unless the post calls for it.
- Automatic quality refinement — The QC Audit runs on every reply. If it flags
warningorcriticalseverity issues, the pipeline redrafts once and re-audits automatically.info-level findings are surfaced as notes but don't trigger a redraft. - Platform selection — Choose the platform the content came from. Video platforms show different styling to match their UI patterns.
- Post format — For X/Bluesky, choose between a single reply and a threaded response. Your choice is enforced end-to-end: if the model drifts and produces a thread when you asked for a single post, the pipeline keeps only the first segment and truncates it cleanly to the platform limit instead of returning a mangled 278-char “thread” of half-posts stitched together. Pick Thread when the idea genuinely needs more than a single post — the full 3–5 post thread is returned untruncated.
- Quality scoring — Each generated response includes a quality score with feedback on persona match, engagement quality, and any issues or strengths.
- Response history — View previously generated responses with timestamps.
- Tone selection — Adjust the tone of the response to match different engagement contexts.
Response intent
The intent dropdown controls what kind of reply the Responder builds. Leave it on Auto to let the backend classify the post, or override it before generating if you already know the shape you want. When Auto is selected, the UI displays Detected: {intent} after generation so you can see which classification was used.
Each intent option shows a short description under the dropdown so you know exactly what it does before you generate.
- Auto — Default. The backend classifies what kind of reply the post calls for and routes to the matching intent.
- React — Respond conversationally; answer direct questions the author asked.
- Agree & extend — Agree with the author's framing and add one specific extension.
- Challenge — Respectfully push back on one specific claim with questions.
- Sympathize — Acknowledge and validate; no advice, no pivot to a take.
- Riff — Playful or lateral observation; no expert framing.
Quality Audit display
The Quality Audit section below each generated reply splits findings into two groups so you can tell what was already fixed from what's still open for your judgement.
- Addressed in this draft — Issues the automatic redraft fixed, shown with strikethrough. Only appears when a redraft actually happened.
- Notes for consideration — Remaining
info-level items you can decide whether to act on. These never block the draft.
