Engagement
The Engagement page (formerly Social Monitor) is a focused inbox for the comments arriving on your synfluencer's posts. Reading and triage live here; performance reporting moved to the Analytics page.
How to access
Click Engagement in the left sidebar. Requires an active synfluencer. Old /social-monitor bookmarks redirect here automatically.
Key features
- Comments KPI badge — The header shows how many comments are pending review across every platform that returns comment text.
- Per-platform inbox — Browse comments on your posts. Expand threads to see reply chains where the platform exposes them (TikTok, YouTube).
- Link out to reply — Click any comment to open the post on the platform and respond there. In-app reply send is intentionally not supported because each platform requires direct OAuth scopes.
- Manual sync — Refresh the inbox on demand. A daily APScheduler sweep also runs automatically.
Why some platforms don't show comments
Our analytics provider (ScrapeCreators) returns reply text for these platforms: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, Threads, Bluesky. For X / Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest we receive a reply count (e.g. “3 replies”) but the actual comment bodies aren't accessible without per-reply lookups that would burn provider credits. Rather than show an empty “0 comments” panel next to a non-zero count, we hide the Latest Comments panel for those platforms entirely. Likes and post counts still appear; replies are best handled by clicking the post link to open it on the platform directly.
Recent activity ordering
The platform's feed often surfaces pinned posts at the top regardless of when they were posted. The Engagement page re-sorts each platform's recent activity by post date so newer posts always appear first, with a pinned post staying in date order rather than displacing the rest.
