Account & Billing

Manage your account settings, view usage history, configure alerts, and purchase credits. Synfluencer uses a pay-as-you-go model — no subscriptions, no monthly commitments.

How to access

Click Account in the sidebar utilities section.

Pay-as-you-go billing

Synfluencer does not use subscriptions. You purchase credit packs and credits are consumed as you use AI features. There are no recurring charges and no billing periods.

Credit packs

  • $10 — 10 USD in credits
  • $25 — 25 USD in credits
  • $50 — 50 USD in credits
  • $100 — 100 USD in credits

Credits use a 1:1 USD ratio. New accounts receive free credits to explore the platform.

What costs what

Text-based AI actions (trend discovery, content generation, QC audits, image generation) are billed at actual provider token cost — typically a few cents per action. Video generation is billed per second of output:

  • Talking Head (HeyGen) — $0.10 per second
  • AI Video (Veo) — $0.13 per second
  • Motion Video (Kling) — ~$0.15 per second

For example, a 30-second talking head video costs approximately $3.00. A trend discovery run typically costs $0.02–$0.15 depending on the sources and pipeline features used.

Account features

  • Usage summary — View daily, weekly, and monthly usage with detailed context showing which features, platforms, and automations consumed credits. The summary scopes to the synfluencer currently selected in the CommandDock, and a dropdown at the top of the card lets you switch to a different persona or "All synfluencers" for global totals. Switching synfluencers via the CommandDock auto-updates the scope.
  • Usage history — Full audit trail of every credit transaction. Tracks whichever synfluencer is selected in the Usage Summary dropdown above it.
  • Credits & balance — Your credit wallet and lifetime spend are shared across every synfluencer you own. Only the usage telemetry scopes per persona; the balance is always global.
  • Burn alert threshold — Set a spending threshold. When your usage reaches it, you receive a notification on the Messages page.
  • Monthly budget cap — Set a hard spending limit to prevent unexpected charges.
  • Credit top-up — Purchase additional credit packs directly from the account page. This section only appears once an admin has enabled self-service billing; during early beta it is hidden by default.
  • Billing portal — Access your payment history and manage payment methods. Hidden while the top-up section is disabled.
  • Change password — Update your password yourself from the Security card. You enter your current password plus a new one (8+ characters with uppercase, lowercase, and a digit). No need to ask an admin for a reset.
  • Timezone preferences — Set your preferred timezone for the entire application.
Set a burn alert early. It is the easiest way to stay aware of your spending without checking the account page manually. You can adjust the threshold at any time.

FAQ

Do credits expire?

No. Purchased credits remain in your account until you use them. There is no expiration date.

Can I get a refund?

Contact support for refund requests. Unused credits in your account can typically be refunded.

How do I know what each action costs?

Every AI action is tracked and visible in your usage history with the exact amount consumed. The Account page breaks down usage by feature, platform, and automation.
